Diazo is one of the most exciting methods of screen printing available because it offers the widest range of possibilities. It makes possible to printing of fine line drawings, various hand and commercial lettering techniques, as well as photographic positives. Once sensitized, the emulsion can be stored for up to 2 months at room temperature or 10 months when refrigerated. Be sure to use polyester or other synthetic material for screen. Do not use silk or organdy if you wish to re-use the screen. Diazo Kit includes 6.6 oz. jar of photo emulsion, 8 oz. jar of photo emulsion remover, 1 oz. bottle of diazo sensitizer, and instruction sheet.

Daler-Rowney System 3 Acrylic Printing medium retards the drying of acrylic color on the screen and reduces the risk of screen blocking, making it easier to wash out. Screens, kept moist, will wash out easily with soap and water. The medium can be thinned with water. System 3 Acrylic Colors retain great density of color even after mixing with medium and very substantial covering power can be achieved on paper, card, and board without undue cockling.System 3 Acrylic Textile Medium has been developed for screen printing on fabrics. Mixed 1:1 with System 3 Color the medium remains open on the screen, gives strong color, fine definition, and excellent colorfastness with more than 20 washes. Garments should be heat fixed with an iron at temperatures appropriate to the fabric itself. The medium works well on cotton, cotton mixes, synthetics, silk, and natural fibers.
