	Graphic designer, Seymour Chwast was born in 1931 in New York City. Based in New York, he studied with Will Barnett at Cooper Union, New York (1948--51), was a co-founder (with Milton Glaser) of Push Pin Studios, New York (1954), and was publisher and editor of Push Pin Graphic magazine (1974--81) and Push Pin Press (1976--81).
